Kitset Stairs

We supply:

1. Fully assembled ready to deliver.

2. All the components of the stair, ready to assemble as a flat pack

3. Or stringers only.

Interior Stairs: There is a large variety of timber and design options available. The majority of interior stairs are generally for carpet, for those we commonly use ex 250x40 UT KD pine for the stringers and 20mm HD particle board for both the treads and risers. We can also supply you with glue blocks and wedges if required.

Exterior Stairs: For the majority of exterior stairs we supply and use ex 250x50 H4 KD tan select grade pine for the stringers, 2 ex/150x50 H4 tan pine griptread for the treads and an ex 50x50 H4 tan pine batten (to reduce the gap between the treads to less than 100mm).

We generally rout the stringers to a depth of 15mm for the treads and risers/battens.
